For my very first article, I was thinking that I should talk about the benefit of eating breakfast. If you follow me on snapchat, you’ll noticed that I post a picture of everything that I eat. From my breakfast to dinner on a daily basis.
As you know, the breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
It boost your metabolism and give you the energy that you need to start your day. More, when you eat breakfast it helps you away from eating something before lunch and reduce your craving during the day. For my part, I remember that in high school I wasn’t eating breakfast at all on the pretext that I wasn’t hungry or I didn’t have time to take it And during the day especially before I was having craving.
But everything as changed now, I now take my breakfast every single morning and It is impossible for me to start a day without it because I know that I am going to binge on the snack machine at school.
For breakfast don’t deprive yourself (for the other meal too), eat something that you like in normal portion. Eat a real meal like pancakes or some oatmeal with fruits on the side and not oreos because 30 min after you will be hungry. And I’m telling you as you will eat breakfast every morning you are going to get use to it and you are going to see that your craving will decrease.
To help you I’m sharing with you one of my favorite breakfast recipe which is a Weight Watcher on and worth 5 smart point (if using wheat bread and almond milk)
French Toast Recipe
To do the french toast you are going to need:
– 2 Slices of Whole wheat bread
– 1 egg
– 5 Tablespoon of milk ( Fat-free, Almond, rice, soy milk…)
– 1 Teaspoon of cinnamon
– Baking paper
1) In a soup bowl mix your ingredients
2) When you have a smooth mixture, take your bread slice and dip it into your mixture until you see that the bread is soaked and dispose it on a cooking paper.
3)Preheat your pan and then add your soaked french toast in a non-stick pan and let it cook 5 min on each side
When you see that they are become gold mean that they are ready . You can then dispose them on your plate and add some syrup if you want to .
I use Publix Sugar free syrup, and dd some fruit on the side .
* The cooking paper is use to avoid butter
